Lending app MyShubhLife gets $4M from Patamar Capital, existing investors
Mobile app-based lender MyShubhLife (earlier Shubh Loans) has raised $4 million (about Rs 29 crore) in a funding round led by Singapore-based Patamar Capital and some of its existing investors. Earlier in October 2019, its parent company Datasigns Technologies had raised $4.8 million in Series A2 funding round led by Omidyar Network India. Existing investors Saama Capital, Beenext, SRI Capital, and Pravega Ventures also participated as a part of this round. Myshubhlife offers loans, savings products like insurance, SIPs, e-gold, and e-filing taxes. It had received an NBFC license from RBI in 2019.

Atlanta robotics startup Softwear Automation closes $18.1M Series B round
US-based Softwear Automation has raised a funding of US$ 18.1 million in Series B round. The robotics and automation solution provider for apparel and textile sewn industry was founded in 2012 and it began raising funds in 2019. The company’s flagship solution is the ‘Sewbot’, which leverages a patented computer vision system that uses cameras and needles to track the placement of fabrics in order to sew with a reported greater level of accuracy. Since spinning out of Georgia Tech in 2007, the company has come on leaps and bounds, partnering with the likes of adidas and Li & Fung to streamline apparel manufacturing.
